Country: USA
Period: 1950's
Description: A beautiful Johnson brothers cabinet with an inlaid marquetry front. It has three drawers on side in the interior and a shelf on the other. The cabinet is veneered in a beautiful highly figured wood and is finished all around. It is able to free stand in a room. Elegant and high quality distinguish this cabinet. It is branded Johnson Brothers on the top inside drawer. I know of only 2 designers who worked for them in the 1950's Paul Frankl and Eliel Saarinen, although stylistically this cabinet does not look like either of these two.
Condition: Very good original condition with some minor nick and scratches.
