1930's Siegel of Paris art deco iron ashtray

Description: A nice art deco stand or ashtray by the noted French firm of Siegel, Paris. It has a nautical motif on the base with swirls like octopus tentacles. The screws on the top have been replaced. There is a hole in the basin top center, which I have no idea what was used for. There is another of these on this website that has the same hole.

Condition: The screws on top have been replaced, and the iron is a bit out of true on the stand.
