French mid century Iron and Glass sconces
Description: A great pair of mid century French iron and glass sconces. The iron work is in the manner of Gilbert Poillerat. The glass appears to have been replaced in the 1980's as these have been rewired. The balls on the base are bronze, the ones on the rim on top are painted wood and likely replaced to accommodate the newer glass shades. The glass is hand blown and likely specially made for these fixtures. There are bubbles and firing flaws in the glass.
Condition: Good age appropriate wear to the iron and bronze with some light rust to the iron. Wiring is good.
