Country: USA
Period: 19th Century
Description: A rare and unusual pair of planters or jardinieres made by either Mott or Fiske. While the bases look very much like a Mott design, the tops look more like Fiske, so it has been suggested that they are put together. It is possibly so, but these look like they were made as a unit as the holes are unique to each top. They have very little paint left. A unique form.
Condition: Some missing pieces of iron and very rusty.
Number of items: 2
Materials/Techniques: Cart Iron
Creator: Mott or Fiske
